Since it is officially Spring and hopefully this winter will be soon behind us, it’s time to get out those skirts and show off some legs, ladies! I am wearing a Mink Pink sweater with an April May skirt that I am completely obsessed with and Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Lindsi Tip:

When wearing a high waisted skirt, opt for a cropped sweater so you can show off your waist and elongate your frame. In this case, I tucked my sweater in a little bit since it was a little too long, so remember you can always give the ‘ol sweater a little ‘half tuck’. I wanted to build this outfit around my pumps and wanted to add some contrast and an unexpected factor to the look, hence the sequin sweater. The crystal and blue color of the Blahnik pump brings out the jewel tone reflections of the sequin, creating balance to the eye. You always want to make sure you have a nice balance in your look. If you are a new Fast Lane Girl to the site, that means never go too overboard in one area of your look unless the rest is either toned down or contrasting, like mine.
