This year that sweet tooth isn’t going to get the best of you. Here are a few delicious guilt-free snack ideas to substitute those decadent holiday pleasures.

Rice crispy treats. It seems like such a paradox, but it’s not. These classic treats have less sugar than you think and mega benefits if you use brown rich, which is fortified with whole grains, instead of white rice.

Pumpkin cupcakes. Chocolate and vanilla are loaded with sugar. Try pumpkin as an alternative because of the abundance of minerals, antioxidants and carotene they contain.

Frozen berries. Small fruit are the closest thing to candy, especially because you can pop them in the same way. Eating them frozen just seems more decadent and gives you that rush that you get from artificially sweetened treats.

Raisins. If frozen fruit isn’t your thing then why not tried dried fruit? You can even try the yogurt-covered versions.

Popcorn and organic honey. Popcorn is a super snack because you can eats lots of it and not consume many calories and the sweetness of organic honey elevates this treat to the next level.

Sour apples. Granny Smith apples are know for their tart and sour taste. Try dipping them in a little caramel for a classic seasonal treat.

Sugar free. If sugar is what you’re worried about and it’s just the classic tastes of Halloween can’t that you can’t resist, then try the sugar free versions of all the classic candies out there.
